It is custom to roll off a few faculties and institutions when making a formal apology. There are many to choose from, over one hundred and seventy two (one hundred and seventy three if you include the royal office for the study of zombie flatulence as an offensive weapon, but nobody ever does evoke that particular office). The higher in ranking a person is,  the more clout the apology garners, especially using such noble names as The Twin Sisters, or The Office of Light. Ironically, naming the King is not on the list of esteemed names due to the constant fluctuating of new heirs thanks to the high death rate in the kingdom. Some however still name him, mainly those still hanging on to tradition.
