Dreaming Moon

Tainted are classed by their general perceived IQ and/or aggression. The most common being class-one “Greenflies”. These are humans and other inhabitants that have adapted (most commonly refereed to as “gifted”) to the effects of the green moon and have moderated their new powers. Other classes include the beings who have not taken well to their powers and are considered corrupted (although the church of well-being would consider all inhabitants as corrupted.) These are what are known as the tainted. Mindless beings who wonder the lands, attacking anyone who cross their path, even other tainted.

There are several other classes above them, increasing in their category according to their appearance and aggression level. Jefferson’s friend was eaten by a class two tainted. The give away was the physical grimace of joy and wickedness as it ate Markus. To be fair, Markus was probably an asshole…
